Rebecca Kenyon set up mote of dust films to develop her own work and collaborate with others.  The focus is on independent social documentaries, both short and long form. 

Phil Parker has been on board since the early days, as co-producer and associate producer, having previously worked with production companies such as Quark Films, as well as creative producing his own work.

For me, good documentaries get to the humanity of a story in a vibrant, instinctive, and accessible way; socially relevant but not issue driven. They share the minutiae of life but resonate with greater significance - motes of dust, transiently seen, heard and recognised.

As well as filming and editing a large variety of events (retreats, educational, charities) including some photography, I have been a documentary maker for nearly fifteen years, with multi award winning work including feature film Something You Can Call Home (shot during a residency at Cucalorus Film Foundation) and short film Holding Space (supported by Film London at BFI). 

We have two documentaries in post-production, Liminal Space, and Gallopers
